Hello, all,

I organized this mailing list because I wanted to get as much information as
possible on Lucent's new OS/language. The more I look at it, the more
impressive it becomes. If you have not yet visited Vanni Fucci at
http://cruel.com/vanni and gone to the Inferno links, you ought to.

I talked to someone at Lucent today, and he said that the software is
scheduled for an August 1 beta release. It sounds like a pretty solid
deadline, and Lucent is eager to give folks a crack at the product.

Has anyone reading this seen a working copy of Inferno, or received an alpha
release? I'd love to hear some first-hand insights on it.
