Yes. One way I've done it on a standalone laptop is simply to make sure the laptop has a normally configured NIC with a valid IP address. Then specify all appropriate servers by IP address, not name, such as signer, fileserver, etc. Open an EMU session, and do the normal binds, and then start "srv". Open a second emu session and have it do the normal "verify" steps, and voila, you're running standalone, regardless of whether your laptop is actually connected to a network. Now start up the limbo program of choice, such as wm/logon. Regards, Peter
