Re: Inferno marketing vs. Java marketing -Reply

Inferno is starting to become visible -- while I'd hoped to be first to put
together a program on Inferno, my hat is off to COMPCON which is offering a
program on Wed AM Feb 26 in San Jose as part of a sesion on Electonic
Commerce for the Comming Digital Broadcast Revolution

http://www.compcon.org for more information

However, if this just wets your apppetite -- then come to Boston in the
Spring!!!

Inferno will be the subject of more than a full day during the Electronic
Industries Forum to be held in Boston at the World Trade Center on May 6, 7, 8

http://www.ieee-boston.org/eif/

Tentative program (subject to revision)
Wednesday during the Communications Track

Introduction to the Inferno Network Operating System and Applications to
Communications Systems -- Lucent Technologies

Thursday -- Tutorial and Workshop on Inferno Programming and Applications
Morning Tutorial:
Inferno: The Vision
Programming in Limbo
Inferno Components: kernel, Styx messaging, Dis Virtual machine

Noon Workshop:
Inferno Programming and Applications with demonstrations

(we hope to have at least 3 companies demonstrating their Inferno based
products)

So, Inferno will be visible -- keep the faith
