It would probably make more sense to build file trees representing the content or structure rather than putting everything under /dev/database. I am not advocating representing the tables or content in the file tree, rather the control structures that might be appropriate to specific access methods. I think it would be worth while putting a kit to build more complex file systems than are available through file2chan as someone suggested yesterday. I see no reason why it should not be written in limbo. phil
