serving a name space

file2chan is a great help when serving a few files.
suppose i'd like to serve a directory, perhaps one like the
/net directories with several channel directories, a clone file,
and the like.  as things stand, it looked to me as though i'd
need to handle the raw protocol in Limbo myself.  as it happens,
there's another design that will be fine in my case
so i'll leave it for the moment.  is a Limbo interface to
all of Styx not there simply because it hasn't really been needed so far?
